Difficult. Questions not answered

cannot complete my Mom's return. She has a pension that is NYS tax EXEMPT. no way to enter that info.
no way to ask for help
will not use this tax company next year.
TaxAct was much simpiler
What's great about it: nothing
What's not so great: Tax Act was much easier to complete

5 Years Plus with Turbo

Overall, very happy with the product and how easy it is to file.
What's great about it: You can get help along the way; easy to go back and check everything
What's not so great: Needed a little more help with an IRA Distribution than I thought

What's great about it: The ease of going through everything.

Ut tax form errors

I did not like the Utah tax form it had an error in form t-40S that would not allow me to file my taxes electronically. I tried to manually edit the file but editing was disallowed. So even though I had paid to file electronically i had to mail in a hard copy. I've used turbo tax for over 20 years and this year was the worst.
What's great about it: easy to basically start taxes
What's not so great: unable to file electronically because of error in form. I could not modify a field that was causing an error.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

What's great about it: My taxes are easy and the abiltiy to pull in information from W2, Financial firms makes it much easier.
What's not so great: The section on SSA Lump Sum Payments was confusing

Gets the job done. do wish it felt cleaner, able to remove items and have the program show the item deleted. Print on the state form a place for routing and account which the state sheets have on them.
What's great about it: Gets the job done.
What's not so great: feels clumsy when dealing with items you wish to delete.
