Does not allow for losses to be easily included. Hard to use with Capital Gains and Losses.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Could not find all my deductions

Still need some work to be top tier .Not very well tested from a user's perspective. Numerous problems. But none were insurmountable.
What's great about it: Usual easy of use that I come to expect
What's not so great: Bug CreditCard Pay,Help not helpful, passwordReset fail, noafter hrs help

Turbo Tax Go Retro Please

I am a huge fan of the transferring data from prior tax year function. I really like the W-2 import. The financial data input is nice but I really don't feel comfortable logging into my financial institution so that you can access my tax data. It would be nicer if it was in a partner repository like the W-2s.
Basically the application is very straightforward but as a long time user of the tool, I would like there to be an option that takes me through the interview faster or with less "continues". It reminds me of certain versions of windows were users demanded the "classical" appearance so that they could find the options they normally use.
Please remember we are intelligent people for the most part and the interfaces should reflect that. Why can't I delete multiple lines of supporting data for my expenses. I have to delete line by line....argh!
What's great about it: Importing Tax data, and importing W-2s
What's not so great: Dumbed down the interface for long time users not necessary

User-friendly: too simple?

It was great sometimes to ignore sections if I answered a question that determine it didn't apply. However, it would have been great to have more detail in the questions, as I found out that some sections ignored previously should not have been.
Furthermore, navigation through the questions and forms independently is easy enough, but navigating between the two could be better-linked. I'd also like more review of the forms instead of just the questions.
What's great about it: Quick walk-throughs are efficient.
What's not so great: Should be easier to navigate from questions to forms and vice versa

I have been using turbo tax every year since I started making more money where I could no longer use the short form. It is reliable, user-friendly and it's fun! That is, if you are numbers geek like I am. :-)
