Excellent software, thorough and easy to understan

I had rather complicated taxes this year due to the loss of my husband. TurboTax made the complex possible, and all in the comfort of my home.

TurboTax = easy

Very easy if you file with turbotax if you do it every year. It takes me longer to find the forms that were sent to me! I use deluxe most years and it takes me about 2 hours total.

Lots of Improvements

There were some items that seemed to be added or made more noticeable. The Its Deductible feature will allow you to add charity items to a website throughout the year. Then when it is tax time it can be exported. I waited until almost the last minute to complete taxes. It seem much easier this year than previous.
What's great about it: Lot of great items added or made more noticiable. Its Deductable enables you to add info into charities throughout year.
What's not so great: Could not think of any.

Really easy

We've used TurboTax for 11 years now. It's actually easier than having H&R Block do them for you (and it gets done right!)
What's great about it: Quick, simple
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Pretty straightforward

Have used TurboTax for MANY years now, and it gets better. My taxes are not at all complicated, but I like how the program gets you through it quickly. Only complaint is that the cost of the software and service paid doesn't automatically populate in the "tax preparation expenses" section of deductions.
What's great about it: Great interface.

Long Time User, First Time Fail

I have used Turbo Tax for close to 20 years and have always loved it. This is the first time I have experienced any problems. My return is complete and yet, I am getting an error message that it cannot be sent. I have been on other websites so I know it is not my internet connection. I still have two more returns to complete...not good!
