The best tax software anywhere

The easiest and most efficient way to do your taxes. I have used Turbo Tax for the past ten years without any problems at all. I would recommend it to everyone that has to do their own taxes. It works out to be fast and easy, you just answer the questions correctly and it does everything else for you.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: no cons noticed

Better this year, except health care questions

This by far was the easiest version of Turbo Tax that I have used in years. A lot less errors from transfering data on previous version.
I was hesitant to buy this year because of all the negative noise I had been hearing. Glad that I didn't listen to the negative noise.
It took me 5 hours because I have sooo many itemized deductions. It used to take me 2 days years ago when I started using Turbo Tax. Income & Deduction sections walk through is very good.
What's great about it: Easiest version of Turbo Tax to use in years
What's not so great: No option to select if employer didn't offer ANY health insurance

not the product I expected

Import data from last year. Next question is what other W2's do you want to enter. Other? The same as last year. So I made a W2 for the same employer and NOW you see a page that lists 'last year's' and 'this year's' and they are the same employer. I couldn't find the form for Gift Taxes (even though we didn't have to pay tax on the gift). I had to go to the Forms to add the amount of tax refund money I wanted to apply to estimated taxes. I had restarted from zero four times before I figured out how to fix their errors. Can only imagine what the novice would have felt. Hope they user-test early on so all works next year.
What's great about it: I guess it was more accurate than using pencil & paper & calculator
What's not so great: Constantly having to 'go to Forms' in order to add data that it wouldn't ask me.

The Most Bang For Your Buck !

Overall, I have been using TURBOTAX for about 8 years now & I find it very, very convenient in every way possible. The format is easy enough to follow as long as you've done your own due diligence and collected all your data in order to make the process smoother flowing. If not.....you'll just have to pause while you collect the data necessary to provide proper input with the software. TurboTax doesn't miss a beat all the way through & it's simply the finest software available on the market today. Buy it.....use it........you'll be so glad you did !! What's great about it: Straightforward, detailed & easy enough to follow !
What's not so great: Payments not readily accepted at the end & had to repeat process several times to get to my credit card info.

Alway use Turbo Tax

I have been using Turbo Tax for my taxes and my daughter's taxes for about 10 years now, and will not use anything else. They make it easy, all you have to do is follow the instructions. If you don't understand something, they have good explanations for your question. Not crazy about doing taxes, but Turbo Tax almost makes it painless....almost.
What's great about it: They make it easy
