Turboed My Tax Day

Had a little problem so I called Turbo Tax, and in no time their Rep had me on my way to finishing.
Been using Turbo Tax for the past ten years, and will continue using in the years to come.

Seems even easier this year, but as with any IRS dealing, I hope everything is in order. Who wants an audit?
What's great about it: Easy to use. Seems idiot proof.
What's not so great: When you have multiple choice answers, sometimes the correct answer isn't available.

Some Good Some Bad

Tried to insert a carryover worksheet even though I had no carryover or investment income. Worse, the page had no helpfile and their website had no info on how to correct it. Also, they jacked up the e-file rate by $5.
What's great about it: Don't have to write things out
What's not so great: Difficult to locate and correct errors found in review

Been using Turbo tax for SEVERAL years, will do so again next year.
What's great about it: Step by Step instructions, uploading previous years info, comparisons to prior years filings

Much easier and less stressful that dealing with a Tax service and cheaper! Do your taxes the privacy of your own home!

The only way to accurately and safely (IRS Audit Risk) complete your own taxes.
What's great about it: Menus much easier to use.
What's not so great: Would like a print options for the eFile confimation notice.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax is easy to use, though I have been using it for quite a few years now. The only issue I encountered was when I tried to upload my state return. After several attempts over a couple of days I had to call in to Customer Service to complete the process. I waited only a few minutes for a live representative to help me, and she got me set up quickly. Aside from that glitch, I am very pleased with the ease of TurboTax.
What's great about it: Easy to follow the steps for preparation and filing
What's not so great: Had trouble completing the payment for state filing

Although I didn't get a refund, I had to pay a lot less than I expected.
What's great about it: It was simple, asked all the right questions in a way that was easy to understand
What's not so great: I don't have any cons
