Wouldn't want to use another product or GOD forbid, try to use the booklet provided by the IRS. Would have given 5 stars, but needs improvement for living in one state and working in another for my 16 year old daughter, a first time user. Went round the horn a few times with this one --
What's great about it: Great for sorting out all the details of homeowner with college student.
What's not so great: The progress bars for checking accuracy -- really not necessary.

unbelievable easy!

Entering the information was easy as importing last year's information and updating this years information with year by year comparison. I was done in 45 minutes, income, deductions, IRA's and all, the best part was the refund$. - Thanks Turbo tax.
What's great about it: The tax documents matched Turbo Tax questions exactly.

If I had my paper work organized better I could of finished entering in data quicker

save to local computer

i have been a long time Turbo Tax user, and i was very disappointed when i could not save my tax returns on the computer that i have always done my taxes on in the past. i am not happy with the "cloud", and have multiple concerns, mostly about access and security of my information. i would like you to add the choice of local storage to the program.

Another Year With TurboTax

I used to prepare my taxes manually years ago. I tried TurboTax and got the same results as my manually prepared tax return at a fraction of the effort required. That sold me on using TurboTax ever since!
What's great about it: Ease of preparation and ease of mind that the information is recorded where it ought to be recorded
What's not so great: I pay too much taxes (not TurboTax's fault#. I am not a member of the 47% #e.g., non-taxpayer)

Poor Mac OS 10.6 support

Extremely disappointed that Intuit decided not to support Mac OS 10.6. I had to borrow a laptop to complete my 2014 taxes. I did not want to use Turbo Tax online. I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years. I hope this will be resolved for next year, so that I do not have to switch to another type of tax program. I do not need to purchase a new computer or operating system for any other product that I use, so why start now.
What's great about it: very easy to complete as always
What's not so great: No support for Mac OS 10.6
