great program

We have used TurboTax to do our taxes for more than 16 years. While we have used many different versions over the years they have all been very simple to use. They have also provided easy to understand explanations of in areas where we didn't understand the questions.
What's great about it: the program
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Procrastination wasn't worth it

First let me say that I always put off doing my taxes because I just dread to do them. I usually get a refund but always find a excuse to do something else until the end of March or the first of April. This year was no different. Once again, the dread of doing them was actually worse than just DOING them. This year it seemed to go even faster and I e-filed both state and federal forms with one key stroke at the end of it all. The things I like about TurboTax are: 1)The continually updating refund amount at the top of the screen. 2)Simple questions instead of complicated government jibber jabber 3)Recommendations of what will give me the biggest refund already highlighted. And finally 4)The simplest e-file anyone could possibly image.
What's great about it: So easy and clear. Simple questions and it filled in the amount in the right blanks
What's not so great: Done this for years and honestly can't think of one thing I would change.

Using of TurboTax

Love this software since the first of using it. And will continue to use it as well as recommending to others.
What's great about it: TurboTax is one of the best softwares available in market. Precisive, clear, and easy to follow without mistakes.
What's not so great: It may takes some times to be good with the using of such great software.

Can't do without it!

I've been using it for years and I'm "Brand Loyal"! I don't even look at a different tax prep package.
What's great about it: Easy tounderstand & use. No chance of mistakes in calculations. Takes the sweat out of filing.

Trouble with state edit button

Most of the process was great, but when I went back into the state return the edit Icon did not work. I had to go to the review and continue to go back on each page hitting the edit button and back buttons until I got back to the start of the state. Very frustrating!

Excellent Tool

I love Turbo Tax. Taxes may not be a fun activity, but with Turbo Tax it is not that bad. It also makes it really easy to get answers to questions to make sure I am filling in everything correctly.
What's great about it: Super Easy to use
What's not so great: none that I found

Consistently easy and thorough

I have used this software consistently since 2009 and every year it gets more thorough, and easier to use. My brother is a CPA and still recommends using this software, because of the great care taken to develop it, along with its audit protection to the end user.
What's great about it: Allows for great detail
