I used Turbo Tax again this year and really appreciate the importation of previous tax information so I do not need to enter all information new each year. The program really guides you through the tax filing process.
What's great about it: imports from previous years, guided assistance

Simplified Language

The information regarding vehicle registration tax deduction should have been more detailed with more examples. Alaska was an example of not having a "License Fee" as in California, but a "Municipal Tax".
The questions regarding "Residency" determination in California were very confusing.
TurboTax saved me a lot of money over the manual attempt to do CA taxes.

I had a positive experience using TurboTax Deluxe. The process was easy as the software walked me through the whole tax process. I only had problems relating to my adoption process in 2014. The IRS tax laws were cloudy at best which complicated the tax return process.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Adoption credit process was a little complicated due to IRS rules

What's great about it: Extra calculations made to ensure I saved the most
What's not so great: Navigation still a little clunky. Could have subnavigation for each section.

Super Fast and Easy

Turbo Tax is very simple to use. No one likes doing their taxes, but once you get your paperwork ready, TurboTax makes doing this chore less of one. Anyone can use it and be successful!
