completely entered Married Filed-joint long form and separate short form for our child. Neither tax form saved at all. All information had to be reentered. Confusing where to apply paid tuition.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: did not save tax return files, twice

This is my 15th year in a row using turbo tax with awesome success and cant wait for next year. Easy to use and understand and quick as in can incorporate my last years info to get started. Thanks for the years of help with my taxes and hopefully many many more.

Easy Filing

Straight forward data entry process. I have tried other tax return software and returned to TurboTax because it is a little more intuitive.
Basic package should have included Schedule A -- like it always has in the past. However, sales representative immediately offered free upgrade to provide Schedule A capability. She was very kind and helpful.

Better than any accountant!

The Turbo Tax system makes filing so easy. I especially like the
helpful references when there are any questions regarding items that can be filed for credit. The step by step process makes sure that you don't miss a single item.

I highly recommend Turbo Tax and have to all of my friends.

Poor, Poor PA Process

I still need to figure out my state filing to disclose this rebate. I'll certainly give second thoughts to purchasing Turbo for year 2015. I turned 65 in 2014. You should be more sensitive for that threshold.
What's not so great: No alert for Property Tax Rebate eligibility !!!

Good, but hard to remove previous years items!

Each item is thoroughly discussed to help maximize returns, while minimizing audit risk. However, if there is something that you did the previous year, for example side-business work, the program wants to keep it and it is difficult to remove the following year.
What's great about it: Good explanation of each tax item
What's not so great: Difficult to remove previous years entries.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
