Do Your Own Taxes!

I've never done my own taxes until i got TurboTax, now I can't go back. I don't have to ever pay anybody to do whats essentially super easy AND I got a better refund!
10/10 Would do taxes again.
What's great about it: Super easy, fast, intuitive, fail safe
What's not so great: Can't think of any yet...
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

So comfortable using TurboTax

I have been using Turbo Tax for years now and am always surprised when I talk to friends about how scared they are to do their own taxes. I always tell them to try TurboTax, it's so easy. I have found more mistakes using a tax preparation service over the years than when I do them myself with TurboTax.
What's great about it: Easy and brings up topics you may not have considered
What's not so great: hmmmm can't think of one
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Double charged for state efile

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and am generally happy with the product. It does a nice job of "interviewing" me to collect the data and then it fills in all the forms. I have always felt the quality is high and it helps me find all deductions. This year was my first try with efile and I bought the version of Turbo Tax that includes efile for 1 state. When I filed it charged me again for state. I couldn't find help, so I paid again and will seek refund. Kind of a pain and it causes me to loose some confidence in the software.
What's great about it: Comprehensive and good job collecting data and creating returns.
What's not so great: I was double charged for the state return efile.

Makes Filing Taxes a Breeze

Finished state and federal in under 2 hours. Used to take me a whole day doing it by hand.
What's great about it: Walks you through in plain English

2014 Home Edition

Good Work--Confusion at store for what 2014 version to purchase. Moved and had two states to report, would have liked info on How many months one need to reside in the new state to be considered a resident, MN to AZ permanently.
Would like a CHAT LINE available, no expectations that it would be ask the tax pro, however someone able to answer simple questions.
What's great about it: Ease with input, and information in forum Questions
What's not so great: Call it the Deluxe addition, highlight what is not in it.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments
