first year disappointed

I couldn't get the E schedule so had to wait and get last year's file from my computer at a different location. There should have been a more detailed explanation of the problem online- and in the beginning- not till I got to the defunct part. On state forms, I had trouble finding where to enter my 529 contribution - again
I have used Turbo tax for over 10 years and this is the first year where the directions and information was poor- especially for downloading from my quicken account.
What's great about it: transfer of data from Quicken
What's not so great: transfer data information not clear and had to try several times hard to find some items, missing E schedule
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Always the best

I've been using TurboTax for a few years now and I love it. I always dread doing my taxes and about 30 minutes later, they're done and I'm amazed how quick and easy it is with TurboTax. They walk you through everything you need to know and make filing so easy.
What's great about it: easy, quick, no hassle
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Will buy download instead of CD next year. We always use Turbo Tax. Easy to use.
What's great about it: Very thorough
What's not so great: Can't buy state e-file with CD

Simple and straighforward

We have been using TurboTax for many years now and will continue to do so (unless we hit the lottery!).
Prior to using TurboTax, we used face-to-face tax return preparation services. Doing our taxes face-to-face took longer, was more expensive, required traveling to their office, and I was never really sure if the returns were done properly. For all of these reasons, we decided to try TurboTax and have not looked back.

I've used Turbo Tax since 2008 and still find it the clearest, easiest way to file.
What's great about it: Helpful hints under each "Learn More" button; clear, step-by-step instructions; easy to use
What's not so great: I would rather not have to scroll down the page each time I need to add another entry, "add" at the top

Excellent customer service

I've used TurboTax for years without any problems whatsoever. Very easy to use and many steps along the way to review and check information ensuring your return is accurate and complete. I did have one issue this year filing my return and after calling customer service, the issue was resolved very quickly and pleasantly. Thanks TurboTax!

Problems with Turbotax

Tough to find how to file manually the State return!!!! Does not flow like other parts of the program

What's not so great: Tough to find how to print State forms for manual submission

So EASY

TurboTax does not let me forget anything. I really like letting it step me through each category. I have been using it for the last 6 years and have never had a problem.
