A NO STRESS RETURN

when I did the Fed review it showed one error. I went back & all it showed was a line item number, which I assumed related to the actual return form, a blank field for an entry and asked me to fill in an appropriate number. There was very little explanation to what it was looking for so I gave it my best shot. when I clicked on "continue" it cleared the field so I put in something else but again was cleared when I tried to continue. Finally clicked on FORMS in the header and was given a better idea of what it wanted and was finally able to continue.
It was a minor distraction in an overall stress free process.

Easy Enough

Overall, TurboTax is one of the best products that we have used. We have used it for the past 9 years and have had no problems with it at all.
What's great about it: Very thurough
What's not so great: I don't understand a lot of the deductions

What's not so great: uhmm...I didn't like that every time I login there is more upgrades, it think it should be ready when you purchased
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Errors

When you get an error it's hard to know what questions or place in the step-by-step section you might have missed or did incorrectly. It'd be nice if there was a feature that could take you back to that section if applicable.
What's great about it: catches errors
What's not so great: hard to know where to go and fix error

It would be better not to include the option "various" for dates if only to cause a flag later of various is no longer acceptable. Also the full address should be required before being able to progress as this to is needing repair after the review of errors. Very frustrating to dig out the supporting documents again only to fill in the data that should have been prompted before.
What's great about it: Remembers info from prior year
What's not so great: Prompts for "various" dates but review says it is no longer acceptable.

Gets better with age!

I have stayed with Turbo for over 18 years. While I hate the process of Taxes and filing, I have found that TurboTax has made the entry process orderly, understandable and effective.
I should be so good with the management of my tax records.
Keep up the good work.
What's great about it: Orderly, professional, complete
What's not so great: Help screens are very simple and not always helpful with understanding new or recent changes to the forms or regulations
