Simple to use

Have used for many years now and it is a well thought out and easy to use tax preparation program. Personally I like the Why/reason links throughout the program. It makes it easier to know if missing something. Also like the fact that choosing the right product, they don't oversell you into the next product up.
What's great about it: Quick, easy and the program guides you smoothly
What's not so great: Would have liked more details on prior year distributions & the Cr. Only section with no reason link
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Won't Need TurboTax in Future

I ordered the Federal only -- mistake. I live in a state with a state income tax. Upon completing the process, I learned that my itemized deductions were less than the standard deduction.
What's great about it: Simple to complete.
What's not so great: Didn't realize that my deductions didn't reach the level of the standard deduction.

easy and fast

Loved how it walked be through the process, asked all kinds of related question (and only related ones), learned a lot; better prepared for next year! Easy to do my taxes and saved over $150 since I don't have to use a preparer...

So easy

I love turbo tax, period... no boring CPA to miss a reciept and then overcharge me. I can sit go through all my receipts at my leisure, and enter my deductions, it walks me through, so that I don't miss anything.
What's great about it: simple walk through directions
What's not so great: have to learn ahead of time what is deductible to save receipts, and make list of totals for each category

Great! But?

In the beginning, Turbo Tax, doesn't inform you that is "working" on a specific page or whatever! AND YOU WAIT AND WAIT AND WAIT and wonder if your system (PC) is down or what! A little reminder such as "Still working........Wait! will be helpful.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions & easy to input data!
What's not so great: In the beginning, Turbo Tax, doesn't inform you that is "working" on a specific page or whatever!

I have used Turbo Tax for years. Have a degree in accounting, but it's almost impossible to keep up with all of the tax changes. Turbo Tax simplifies the income tax reporting requirement for me.
What's great about it: Simple to use
