What's great about it: Generally, easy to use.
What's not so great: Had some problem with RMD Ohio Public EMP RET SYS.

Avoided Migraine!

I had actually tried using two services before I came to Turbotax. The issue was my Mortgage Credit Certificate - a document that is supposed to lower your taxes due directly. The first service couldn't support the MCC. The second didn't work because when I entered the MCC nothing happened to the amount of tax I owe. Then, just like the Big Bad Wolf, I huffed and puffed and blew my way over to TurboTax. At first, it didn't seem to be working their either; when I tried to enter the MCC, there was no place for it. The ? window didn't help either. So I went to chat, and though it took about 45 minutes, Shanna got me to a working model that accepted my MCC, and voila!, the taxes due was reduced. It took time, but ultimately, it worked and now I have finally filed my taxes.
What's great about it: Took me through the necessary steps to achieve the correct result.
What's not so great: Wouldn't work with online version

Questions were asked about taxable income that was not on the 1099's. New things that I did not understand.
What's great about it: Easier than using forms alone.
What's not so great: New things in there tripped me up.

Turbo Tax 2014 Use

Having to update my operating system on my computer for the past two years. It gets costly and cumbersome to obtain the software and loading it on the computer. I have an old MacBook computer that works fine otherwise until I start doing income taxes.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax 2014 is easy to use and follow. I have never had problems with its use.
What's not so great: One exception is that in the last two years I have had to update my operating sys. That is very cumbersome..

Detailed, accurate, quick, easy!

I have been using TurboTax for about seven years. It is the quickest and easiest way to do my taxes. I have never given a second thought to how I will do my taxes, and I finish in half a day!
What's great about it: Easy to follow - step by step, as much info as you want - or as little as you want
What's not so great: None

Overall I am very please with Turbo tax and will continue to use it in the future. I would recommend Turbotax to everyone!
What's great about it: I had to file with 3 different states and it was easy
What's not so great: have many tax documents, it took me about 3 hours to complete
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
