I have used Turbo tax for 20 years. This is the worst edition I have ever used. It's slow to load and not user friendly when moving from "Step by step" to "Forms" etc. The help feature could be improved. It sends you to wrong IRS Publications some times. I paid to use the program and I am a bit annoyed that you are always try to sell me something else as I work through the program. Just do the taxes. I will try Turbo Tax one more year. If it doesn't improve I will consider changing to a different software.
What's great about it: Carries personal inf forward year to year+ IRA after tax info.
What's not so great: Very slow to load

Never again

I took a break from Turbo Tax for one year and had to tell the 'expert' everything to look for to get max refund. Turbo tax just takes it step by step and I fill in the numbers. It does NOT leave out any possibilities. The 'expert' cost me quadrupple $, plus I'm still not sure they found all my money I was due back...

Living and working outside the U.S. for so many years on our sailboat, a few items could have been explained better on the review section but all in all a great program and easy enough to get through in a couple hours. Thank you for a great product. It's good to finally come home.
What's great about it: Easy to understand
What's not so great: We weren't the ordinary customer having lived outside the country for many years.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

First time i had to call for assistance in 5 years

Frst time i had to call for assistance in the five years using Turbo tax....program froze up multiple times when trying to access the form to do our State taxes. Had to call. Person was very polite and downloaded the forms to me to use. Then also had some difficulty with the screen showing up to print my forms. I ended up going forward and then back and they showed up finally
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: state forms were frozen/unaccessible

I did not like being forced to provide a review.
I did not appreciate the deletions in forms that were included with specific TurboTax versions without more specific notification. I realize that this only affects long-time customers, but I would think that those are a customer base that you would not like to offend.

I have used Tubro tax for the last 10 years. It allows me to "get it done" at my leisure and then e-file.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, and checks for errors!
What's not so great: very few and minimal

I saved plenty of money by using Turbo Tax and achieved the same result! Love it!
What's great about it: Inexpensive & user friendly

What's not so great: had a problem with charity using so much a month wrong answer $12 times 12 didnt come up to $420 ic came up to much
