I was disappointed this year.

Your program told me I would be charged a penalty for underpayment of state estimated taxes, yet I was due a hefty refund for overpayment of state taxes! Huh? Also, why is the federal return filed electronically for free while state is not? And what's with the extra charge beyond the state filing fee? That's over the top. I'll be looking at going with your competitor next year.
What's great about it: Transferred all my data from last year
What's not so great: Confusing instructions on state estimated tax underpayment.

Great Program

I have used Turbo Tax for years and it gets better with the questions each year.
What's great about it: The questions lead you to pick the right answers.
What's not so great: You have to pay additional money to e-file state returns.

Pretty good

Used TurboTax for 5+ years. Really like the product. I wish it would create a list of things I can do to help my tax situation. For instance, we had a lot less donations this year. Seems they might have pointed that out as a suggestion, or asked if I wanted advise to bring down my taxes. I pay 1% more year to year, why, and what can I do to bring that back down.
And one minor item. When I had to pay into Federal :(, it used checking info from last year. Then when I had my State refund pop up for auto deposit, it didn't know my checking info..... Three screens earlier, it had it all from last year. Seems like a short piece of code, and boom!
What's great about it: Does your taxes and asks you questions
What's not so great: Doesn't leave you with an action plan for the next round

great tax prep; poor in files print, & credit card

File management of forms, and order was the problem with accessing state tax. to file with credit card required a computer restart. another restart to save as pdf. and another restart to print from Turbo Tax program. program locked up each time. thankfully, knowledgeable help (Christopher) solved the access to state program. The restarts were just brute force. I am a forever Turbo Tax user; very much like autofill from previous years. Noticeable improvements this year. Please fix the file management interface. very much appreciated.
What's great about it: better layout this year, thorough and quick digestion/updates
What's not so great: could not access state tax without 30 minutes (20 -wait time) help
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Lots of resources to use and valuable tools and information. Easy to print and save and go back and make changes anytime.
What's great about it: Easy, Detailed Instructions
What's not so great: Going back and fixing errors is hard to do

I like TurboTax. It is easy and seems complete. There seem to be additional charges for certain things. Why do they not sell a product that includes the State E-File? I get tired giving my credit card info to perform this function. I buy a complete product except for State E-File? This should be included with the product cost.

went fine the time is more my taxes than the program in the end I was happy, I have been using Turbo Tax for a very long time and the end result has always been good.
What's great about it: takes it step by step and helps you through the process
