10 Year user of Turbo Tax

This year's program is even better than last year. I easily completed my return, but I wish that the program had an easy print feature so that one could easily print a return.
What's great about it: Very easy to do and very efficient
What's not so great: Always hard to just print a return

Too Many Forms

Need to have an "Overview" or "Tutorial" on how to move around inside "Turbotax". How to save and keep from starting a secound over by mistake. Software needs to show if another has been started. Or at least list how many returns are on going. Turbotax will start another without letting you know. Or in my case it will not open one that you've already been working on.

What's great about it: Double Checking My Work
What's not so great: Entries need better clarification. Ask more questions to clarify which forms may be needed. Allow the addition of forms.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy to download and use and e file federal return. Transferring to state forms is nice, but costs too much to e file the state. Turbo Tax Delux was suitable for itemizations.
What's great about it: Transfers info from past tax years
What's not so great: Lost input info from earlier in day had to do all over
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Oregon return

Using the Turbo tax step by step process for the State of Oregon return did not work for two state credits I was eligible for. I had to research how to manually insert the needed numbers into the forms section of the Oregon tax forms and do it myself. Turbo Tax was worthless for getting these extra tax credits. I expected better from Turbo tax.
Also, I will look elsewhere next year, if all basic federal forms are not included in Turbo tax.

Somewhat confusing

I have used Turbo Tax since at least 2002 , This is the first year I found it more confusing and harder to go back to review and edit. Not sure i will use it again in the future

INTERESTING

I have used Turbo tax for years, maybe decades, mostly online. Last year the IRS found mistakes.I spent hours in endless loops with my online turbotax. Not providing any help. So, I went with the CD this year. Once I added a W2 it would not let me go back and see what was entered, I did not remember if I filled everything out. It absolutely would not let me go back to check. It also would not let me opt in to having my w2 imported once I passed it by the first time, because I couldn't get the information required. I wasn't as thrilled as I usually am with TurboTax, but the questions were so much easier that in the past

Pretty easy

One thing I wish is that in the various sections that only the section that we are are currently engaged in will be expanded. The other sections would be collapsed (but could be open). Something like folders and sub-folders in Outlook.
What's great about it: Asked all of the right questions
What's not so great: Some of the menus could be a little more compact
