Easy to Use

I have used Turbotax since 1997 for my personal & business taxes. The first two years I compared the results with my companies CPA. Turbotax was correct down to the penny. After that I did my taxes without using our CPA and saved about $500 a year. I highly recommend Turbotax for the easy way to file.
What's great about it: Easy to use, checks everything, enters previous years info before you start and double checks return when completed.
What's not so great: Some explainations on certain items are confusing but you always have access to IRS info

Very simple to use

I have used TurboTax for probably a decade now and love the product. It is very easy to use and does a great job of walking you step by step through the return. I also like that it compares this year to last year which helps to make sure you do not accidentally forget something.
What's great about it: Extremely simple to use and does a great job of making sure you get the maximum return
What's not so great: For whatever reason every year I am unable to import my W2 but that is a minor issue
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This was my first time using the software. I feel very confident that this was the most efficient process for filing.
What's great about it: very easy to use. The questions are clear.

Have used TurboTax CD Deluxe for years for individual tax filings - Love it. Last year I got married and it preloaded info from my previous yr into the current married filing, but there was no way to also preload my spouse's information despite all our previous TurboTax files being available, This would be a nice function to add. Despite this, filing jointly was very easy with the help of TurboTax and we got more money back than the sum of what we had individually in previous years. The What-IF function allows you to compare married filing jointly versus married filing singly to see what is best for you. Joint was best for us as it is for most as indicated by TurboTax help. Thanks, TurboTax!
What's great about it: Easy to use and file
What's not so great: needs to be able to merge info from 2 previous yr single filers into a married filing

TurboTax makes tax time less stressful! It is so easy to follow all the prompts and provide the information step by step. I appreciate how it covers all the bases to help you include information you might not think of on your own.
What's great about it: All the questions were specific and well designed

Have been using Turbo Tax since it came on the market. Each year I continue to enjoy the ease of the software. Takes some pain out of doing my tax return for federal and state.
