We are retired and at this point have a pretty simple return. It is nice to do it at home and feel confident it is correct.

Perfect for Individual Prepping own taxes

Have used for years and now also use Business version for "Trust" reporting, also great!
What's great about it: Led me through "all" questions and possible problem resolutions

Overall, the best tax software out there. I tried others several years ago, always came back to TurboTax. My only annoyance is its constant nagging to file a state return, even after it's clear that my wife and I lived the entire year (as well as the past 11 years) in Florida and have no other residence. Surely that should be an easy thing to change?
What's great about it: Easy to follow, can't forget anything
What's not so great: Nagging to file state return

Turbo tax makes it so easy because it guides you through each step, which helps remind you of some deductions that you have forgotten about!.
i highly recommend this to everyone. a few years back I had my own business and it helped me with all of the necessary forms. i have a degree in accounting and i still use Turbo Tax because it so fast!

Outstanding Once Again

I felt a bit apprehensive initially only because my earnings went up a bit this year, but it's very nice seeing the calculator as you work through your income and deductions. Last year I used a different service, which I now regret only because it was not as smooth as TurboTax's service.
What's great about it: Detailed questions, easy navigation
What's not so great: Refund charges
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Product is excellent, have been using for at least 15 years. Very satisfied with the accuracy the product provides and the security. Am disappointed that I had to pay to e-file a second state due to earning income as a non-resident. This was in addition to paying for the second state. I thought that e-filing was free for the states also.
What's great about it: Easy to use, confident wit product Security
What's not so great: Had to pay for second state filing

TurboTax is Fast and Easy

TurboTax is always easy to follow and fast to fill out, especially after the first year, as they automatically fill in information from the previous year!

This is another year (many now) of using T Tax and it always goes back to old file to start and compares a year ago with current so that you can quickly tell if you did something wrong.
This was a two person tax preparation. One does the accounting and one does the computer. Works good and takes about 5 hours total.
What's great about it: Worked smoothly and easy to go "back" when needed.
What's not so great: None
