We have used TURBOTAX exclusively for the last 11 tax seasons. The ease at which the user is guided through each step cannot be overstated. It took less than one hour to complete both the federal and state returns and e-file this year, thanks in part to the program transferring in our data from last year. Bravo TurboTax.
What's great about it: This tax aide is simple to use, accurate, and a great bargain for the price. Fastest refund possible!
What's not so great: Should include free State filing

Great but one problem

I have used Turbo Tax for years and years. Tried other software years ago and came back to TurboTax because it is easier to use. For last several years the basic info from my 1099-R from USCG has not transferred into new return. My wife's 1099-R info from the Virginia Retirement System has transferred into the new return. I have to re-enter USCG address and federal ID Nr for mine. Once I have entered it and this years amounts TurboTax shows last year as well as this years amounts. It is frustrating that one transfers and the other does not.

Completed 2014 Federal and State taxes in one hour from install to efile.
What's great about it: Concise and fast
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy to follow, easy to file.
What's great about it: Very clear instructions, easy to follow
What's not so great: Too much Advertising for additional features.
