Extremely well organized and user friendly

I have used Turbo Tax for 5 years and I am completely satisfied.
What's great about it: Easy to understand and follow instructions
What's not so great: Cash contributions need to be updated for descriptive use.

Overall excellent. When completing Calif State had no idea where I was until done (exemptions/credits). Apparently import from Federal covered all but there was no heads up on this.
What's great about it: Easy Step By Step
What's not so great: Calif State completion steps vague
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Keeps getting better and easier

I'm very good w/data, numbers and business rules, so for years I did my own taxes. I bought TurboTax a few years ago...don't hesitate to buy this product! It will save you so much time and you can learn so much about each return item (if you want to do that). Also, buy the Audit package- will help you stop worrying. And TTax makes documentation so easy...all of the calculations, worksheets,etc. in pdf files.
What's great about it: Ease of use, Ease of navigation, information available, FAQ center
What's not so great: Can't think of any

Got nervous when I first started completing the form. But as each part was completed, the software was just loaded with so much assurance, my confidence level was restored and the amount of detail and deductions that you can go through is just wonderful !
What's great about it: Super Easy
What's not so great: Nothing

Turbo Tax 2014

Been using Turbo Tax for years, and have not ever had any real problems that I could not figure out.
With that said, I will probably continue to use Turbo Tax in the future.
I just can't stand Quicken, but will probably have to start using it at one time or another, since Microsoft does not make Money any more.

First time using Turbo Tax. We will continue to use. Very easy and convenient.
What's great about it: Loved the walk-throughs and double checking systems
What's not so great: Would like a listing of deductions that I may not know I can take

It's Tax Preparation for Dummies. No matter what your background is the question & answer format is designed to ensure you cover all areas and receive your maximum deduction.
What's great about it: It's easy to use.
What's not so great: No complaints.
