Too Expensive

I've used TurboTax for 20 years and this is the last time I will be using TurboTax - it's just too expensive. Sorry.

No problems with doing our taxes even when there are complicated circumstances. I have never had a problem as we did when our taxes were done professionally.

TurboTax is almost useless

TurboTax has become too encrusted with advertising and is badly insecure. I have been using it for many years but this year it caused me more problems than it helped me with. I will not be using their products ever again.
What's great about it: Can transfer information from previous year's returns
What's not so great: Technical support is absolutely worthless

As I said above, I spent literally hours of extra time clipping & saving screen prints each year because TurboTax Print always defaults to printing forms not my screen contents. You really need a log process.
What's great about it: Comprehensive
What's not so great: Can't simply log; must screen print

If you only knew!

Since using turbo tax, I have been very satisfied. Everything is at a finger tip. It has saved me alot of time from doing my taxes by hand. I would recommend it to any one who have basic taxes to file. Its very easy to learn and follow.
What's great about it: Easy to follow,easy to prepare, save time

2. Transfer of info from previous yr's forms was very helpful
3. Encouragement was nice--very, er, well, encouraging
4. Especially liked the transfer of previous donations
