Haven't steered us wrong yet

We've used TurboTax for years, and we've never had an issue. Frequent updates, very user-friendly, only confusing on those "rarely used" deductions or credits we can't take advantage of, anyway. Excellent product, and we highly recommend it.
What's great about it: Ease of use, guaranteed accurate, costs less than a CPA
What's not so great: Not as personal as a CPA

Wonderful program!

We have been doing Turbo Tax for 15 years. This was a great program to work with. It is so much more user friendly. We enjoyed the process. Commend whoever made the changes!

Turbo Tax software makes doing your TAXES so easy. The hardest part is gathering your papers together. Every section has many help links to explain & give examples of what is needed. Turbo Tax also has links to the Federal Tax site. Another great help is the question and answer component. You ask a tax question and people will answer it. That helped me quite a bit because of my hybrid car.
What's great about it: I really like the HELP links.
What's not so great: can't think of any

Surprised Premium Service fee

What's not so great: DO NOT LIKE THE FEE FOR PREMIUM SERVICE

Turbo Tax 2014

I have been a long-time Turbo Tax user. I always find it easy and simple to use. Taxes are hard enough to deal with and Turbo Tax makes it much more convenient to use at a price point (for the software) that is much better than taking it to a tax preparer. Over the years the state tax filing fee has continued to increase. This year, is the first year I decided to NOT e-file my state taxes. This year, the fee was simply too high for the benefit of getting he refund quicker. If Turbo Tax would address this and reduce the fee, I will go back to e-filing. I really do not understand why the states don't figure this one out and pay the fee. It much cheaper for the state to pay a nominal fee than for it to process my snail mail - paperwork! The only reason I gave an overall rating of good rather than excellent is due to this e-filing state fee.
What's great about it: Really easy and simply to use.
What's not so great: First year I did not e-file state taxes.

A great help

We are heavy givers to multiple charities. I wish you would list them in my return in alphabetical order, to make it easier to enter the donation amounts.
Other than that, this is a great program, really helps me get through the process with a minimum of fuss, and no math errors.

Mine taxes too involved to use TT this year. Did use to do my 96 year old mom's. All she needs is WI homestead. Glad i could choose to choose forms so i didn't have to go through whole interview process for her.
She preferrs to mail hers in and the printing directions are misleading. I hit print forms, i can narrow down to just forms but then you get "print Preview". It took a couple of round and rounds before i realized that was the only way i was going to get a printed copy.

What's great about it: could get to the few forms i needed to do mom's homestead. finally could zero in on just forms i wanted
What's not so great: poor directions to print off for her forms, print preview misleading
