Makin' The Bite Less Painful

Overall, outstanding program. I've been using it successfully for for a number of years and am not planning to change anytime soon.
What's great about it: Getting through the process is pretty easy if the prep work is already in place.
What's not so great: Transititioning from one section toanother can be be abrupt if you don't stop to read the sidebars.

Turbo Tax Deluxe for 2014

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and never had any problems completing and filing my taxes (both Federal and State). I have use Turbo Tax Business and Turbo Tax Deluxe. It is a great way to complete and file your taxes.
What's great about it: It is very easy to be walked through the program by instruction and answering the questions. I have used Turbo for years
What's not so great: None

My turbo

I was probably too tired to know what I was doing but I printed out my forms last week but they were not sent to the IRS. I checked back in and filed them today. Not your fault but I must have needed more hand-holding.
What's great about it: Good instructions for the technical parts of the form
What's not so great: Did not realize that my forms weren't filed until I signed in a week later. Ouch.

Hardly taxing at all...

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years and have always found ti to perform as advertised. It is fast and informative plus provides the free e-filing. Furthermore, I always have the material and worksheets I need should Uncle Sam come a calling (and he has a few times - always without consequence).
I wish Intuit has not taken some of the forms from the Deluxe, since now it is more like the standard. I did not need Schedule C this year but if I had I would have been very disappointed. Please restore the Deluxe to Deluxe status.
What's great about it: All of the forms amd all of the questions that need to be asked, along with easy (and free) e-filing.
What's not so great: Missing some of the forms in the Deluxe - tacky move Intuit

True the price is still cheaper than taking to town an letting a pro do the same thing the program does. It asks a lot of questions but aids in finding the right information to a great solution that benefits you over the IRS
What's great about it: wants to update new files everytim eI open the program
What's not so great: Pricing of product

great for federal. misleading on state

easy to use as usual. handled insurance credits fine. product purchased from Amazon included file for state -- but still had to pay to efile state taxes. I could mail in the state form, but it was incomplete (most information was filled out, but routing and payment numbers were not).
What's great about it: easy to fill out
What's not so great: product said state file was free -- still had to pay to efile in state.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
