More problems this year.

I have used Turbotax for years and will probably keep using it. But I had problems just loading it this year and I never could get it to e-file my state. It would not take me to the website to pay. So I just filed it manually. Also, it seems to me you make significant changes every year. The tax code changes, which necessitates some changes to your software, but it seems there are even logic changes to the way it is laid out. I assume you keep improving it. I would probably prefer consistency to improvement..
What's great about it: This year the W-2 import was particularly easy.
What's not so great: e-filing state didn't work.

I think if you're smart enough to make money, you're smart enough to use turbo tax.
What's great about it: So simple to use, and a lot cheaper than a tax guy.
What's not so great: none
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Great Program

This is a great program to do your taxes yourself. It is easy to understand and gives you information when needed. The only problem is getting updates so late but I know this is not really Turbo Taxes fault as they only update when they get them. I have never had a problem with the software only printing this year but it could be from something else.
What's great about it: Very helpful and detailed, easy to understand
What's not so great: problem printing it this year

What's great about it: Took me through all the details of what I needed to do. Love the supporting details
What's not so great: When I would return to fiing in the tax return, the software took me back to the beginning of the program.
