Simple to do

The change in the titles this year was confusing. Purchased the wrong version and had to take it back to exchange it for the correct version

State & Federal Tax Returns without Sweat

I have used both: H & R Block's Software and the Turbo Tax software in the past. I always like the smooth way that Turbo Tax works & that they have improved it over the years.
What's great about it: Step by Step process without having to read the tax code. Much better & easier to follow than in the past.
What's not so great: I wish it would show more details between the long form & short form.

What's not so great: Would like printing of Fed & State to be separate as the current system creates a problem with back and front printing.

I hate absolutely hate doing taxes! Turbo Tax makes the process so much easier. If not for them I would have to pay an accountant.

I have been using Turbo Tax for our taxes for many years now. I know what to expect ... questions, format, etc .... and that helps me get all my paperwork and figures ready to go. It almost feels like it takes more time to get our info organized than it does completing the returns. I read all the concerns about the changes Turbo Tax made going into the 2014 tax return year. I waited since the CEO seemed responsive to customers. What I found is the familiar software environment making filing our returns as least stressful as possible.
What's great about it: Walking me through each step
What's not so great: Filling in lots of info to find we don't qualify for the deduction
