Easiest filing ever!!!

My wife and I were dreading our federal tax return. We envisioned many hours or many dollars to hire a professional tax preparer. I wanted to try TurboTax before hiring a professional in hopes of saving many dollars. The product worked very well and quickly. After gathering our documents, our return was prepared and filed in approximately two hours. TurboTax has earned a repeat customer in the future.
What's great about it: Quick, easy and intuitive
What's not so great: Had to deactivate future sales promotions.

I will continue to use Turbo tax because it takes customers through each step, provides specific drop boxes with sample responses and makes preparing taxes easier than online tax systems; plus there is at least some assurance identity is secure.
What's great about it: keep the details coming
What's not so great: it would be great to know the extra costs upfront so these figures can be added into the total cost of Turbo on taxes

Turbo Tax has taken something quite complicated and made it really user friendly, for dummies! Would be helpful in the beginning of the medical deduction section if there was a recommendation to segregate expenses by type of expenditure. That could speed up the input. Love the transfer of data from prior year
What's great about it: Quick & Easy,step by step. Tried the download version vs CD - will do it again next year

Returns Made Easy

I put off doing my taxes because I didn't want to deal with the headache and stress of getting it done. I bought Turbo Tax because I heard it was easy to use. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the program was to use and how helpful it was at letting me know what needed to be filled in. I will purchase it again next year.

Be sure to check the tax exemptions if you are in a state that has state sales tax. Because I did a review on that page, it increased my refund over $200!!!
What's great about it: Did all the math for me
