really upsetting

I will have to think twice before I buy next years program.
What's great about it: nothing
What's not so great: could not download free state program even after i bought it online

Simple

I had a much easier time this year as I accessed last year's form and it carried over a lot of the info I had previously typed in. I really appreciate that.
What's great about it: It carried over my last year's information making in much simpler to fill out. It went very quickly and easily.

Very easy to use

TurboTax was a very easy to use program that went into detail to get me the best refund. The difference in this and other tax programs is that this was very fast and easy to follow. I would recommend this to anyone.
What's great about it: simple, fast, and detailed
What's not so great: None that I could find

good but misses some things

I did the filing for our dependent (almost adult) child. Turbo tax missed that their earnings were too high to be able to be claimed as our dependent on our return. Second year running that an amended return needs to be printed and sent in. Last year it was the check box that needed to be checked saying the child could be claimed.
What's great about it: easy to step through many details and finds deductions
What's not so great: missed filing status for child
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Peace of mind if you will take the Time

Over all a Great tool for doing taxes without a high price to have someone else ask you the questions. The key is to organize your information before you start and keep last years taxes handy. Looking for an improvement that shows which person each item applies to.
What's great about it: It has the answers if you follow the questions
What's not so great: Could improve navigation between persons when filling joint

Turbo Tax guides you through your return step by step. It's user friendly and checks everything for you. I've used it as long as it's been in existence!
What's great about it: Easy to use with great directions!
What's not so great: I owed money ;(

Great product

I do my daughter's return as well as our return and it's not an easy task. She is a student and things are changing yearly with scholarships, stipends, student loans,etc. Then her age comes in and whether we can claim her or not. Turbo Tax helped me to sort through everything for us to each get the best possible results on our taxes.
What's great about it: easy navigation, covered all situations that I needed addressed,
What's not so great: None for me
