Git 'er done!

I've used Turbo Tax to file my taxes for many years, and although tax preparation is never a task that one looks forward to, Turbo Tax makes the whole process relatively painless. I shove my tax docs in a manila folder over the course of any given year, and then Turbo Tax walks me through each entry at tax time. When my manila folder is empty, I know I've covered all of my bases! I'm happy to recommend Turbo Tax to anyone willing to devote one afternoon a year to entering their tax information and getting an optimal refund.
What's great about it: Ease of use, speedy

Add option to adjust w4 via set additional amount withdrawal and opt in or out of Estimated taxes.
Requires constant internet access - BAD
Add option just standard Ded, for those that know we can not make enough Itemized deductions!!!!
What's great about it: Still makes it easy, but not a learning experience
What's not so great: miss working just the forms to understand how it all works
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Easy and Quick

Love Turbo Tax. Its easy to use and user friendly! I use to have a tax accountant, but I have used turbo tax for the past 5 years and its easy to use, and saves me money and time.

Not as good as in the past. The fact that you can't return to the last question asked but need to go through the entire section is a poor design.
What's not so great: it doesn't allow you to start where you left off anymore

turboptax federal and state

i have used turbo-tax on a number of computers i have on this old thing since 2008 the reason i say this i know i have been using this program since the mid 90's it is a cant miss program from business to rental houses investments they have you covered just fill in the blanks and you got your return completed in one afternoon i will use turbo-tax every year as long as i can read

Great program with detailed interview questions reminding you of things you may easily forget or miss. Would like to see free state e-filing. Why the charge when you can e-file from many state websites for free?
