I've used TurboTax for several years now. It is so easy to use and I enjoy the "audit" scale. It does make me a little nervous with the numbers going up and down but in the end, it's worth it! I've used both the tips and personal assistance and everything is very helpful.
What's great about it: Easy to use; helpful tips and assistance
What's not so great: Watching the numbers go up and down with every entry

I had use Turbo Tax the year before and this year and so far everything goes well and our taxes are e-filed in a timely manner for lesser cost.
What's great about it: You can easily follow the instructions.

Easy to use, fast to compute and had all the answers for me.
Did both my state and federal returns, which involve lots of bank papers, retirement papers, taxes etc , all in two days. Thank for a very good product!

Cuts Through The BULL

I use to get my taxes done by a charity group. It exposed me to identity theft. This is the program they used to do my taxes and I watched them do it twice. I work on quickbooks at work all week and I though I can do this. I can do my own taxes and also help my children and my mother on occasion. I feel confident when I am done that it is accurate and filed..
What's great about it: Walks me through each step of the way.
What's not so great: Cost

When I went to submit my return i was notified within 1 hr. that someone had stolen my identity and filed a tax return in my name. Turbotax was able to help me identify the problem and point me in the right direction to take action.
What's great about it: helped detect fraud alert

A Good Year

Glad to see that TurboTax corrected the issue and provided us the same forms for the Deluxe version as in the past.
What's great about it: Quik and easy as always.
What's not so great: No cons...
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
