Really Easy!

We realized we had made a mistake and we had to hit back multiple times until we got back to where we needed to fix out mistake. Other than that I was extremely easy and very helpful.
What's great about it: Easy to use!
What's not so great: Going back to catch a mistake.

Problems This Year!

I've been using TurboTax since 2002 and have always had a good experience until this year! I started working on my return on 3/01/2015 and found that TurboTax pulled wrong tax return information from my 2013 State return. I submitted an “AnswerXchange” question and found out within several days that others had experienced the same problem. I also learned this problem was supposed to be fixed with the “2/12/2015” update. It was suggested that I uninstall and reinstall TurboTax to ensure that I had all the updates loaded. So I did, however, the problem was not corrected. I did this several times, but continued through the input screens and found that I could manually correct the amount pulled from my 2013 return. I was finally able to complete my return today (3/27/2015). Please get this area corrected!
What's great about it: You provide convenient options to make payments and receive refunds
What's not so great: You didn’t pull correct State tax refund information from my 2013 TurboTax return

Do it yourself

My Dad was an accountant, and over the years he taught me how to do my own taxes via Turbo Tax...with itemized deductions, without, taxes involving multiple states, all sorts of scenarios...with Turbo Tax we were able to figure it out. Even though my Dad is no longer here as he passed away, his tenacity for do-it-yourself was passed on to me and i have successfully used Turbo Tax for two years worth of taxes...however Turbo Tax cannot cover every question, so either via using Turbo Tax advisors/help or outside accountants help i have been able to successfully navigate the tax process.
What's great about it: You can do this yourself even with limited tax knowledge
What's not so great: None, unless your unwilling to research and investigate and ask questions

What happened?

I had a hard time making corrections as they would not save.
Was unable to pay using credit card

Almost Perfect!

As a self-employed minister of religion, I usually struggle with tax preparations. Turbotax has been a game changer over the years, and has made filing easier (not less painful, but easier).
I wish I could go back and edit my payment date after filing.....just wanted to move it up to make sure it goes through.
Overall - great product! Thank you Turbotax!
What's great about it: Ease of input,clarity of direction, help tab
What's not so great: Can't edit payment options once filed :-(
