Good system, too bad I have to pay this year!

I have used Turbo Tax for at least 10 years. It gets better each year. It simplifies tough stuff!
What's great about it: System guides me easily through all the steps
What's not so great: Should be a little easier to move back & forward to a specific spot

I've been using TurboTax for many years now- and will (most likely) for many more!
What's great about it: Easy to follow step by step through changing family dynamics
What's not so great: Had to refile due to a birth year date that final review didn't check. Pretty easy to fix though.

It didn't seem as hard as I thought it would be. This is my first year doing it myself. I believe I did everything correct. I will file my own taxes again next year.
What's great about it: Can switch from step-by-step to forms

I started with turbo tax & was advised to switch to Turbo Tax Deluxe 2014 at no additional cost to me. Thank you!
What's great about it: easier to use.
What's not so great: lost info & had to start over.

Rocked by the difficulty

I've used this product for five years but I will be switching to a competitor next year. It was very difficult to load after I installed a newer operating system. I was disappointed. I would say more but the guidelines discourage negative comments.
What's great about it: Appears to be easy to use
What's not so great: Not compatible with older operating systems
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

WASTE OF MONEY FOR 2014

EXTREMELY SLOW TO LOAD OR DO ANYTHING WITH THE PROGRAM
WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO E-FILE MY FEDERAL RETURN. I COULD HAVE JUST USED THE FREE VERSION AND MAILED MY TAXES AND SAVED MYSELF $50.
FINAL INSTRUCTION PAGE USED TO BE A LOT MORE CLEAR ON WHAT EXACTLY HAD TO BE MAILED WITH MY STATE RETURN, WHICH SHOULD BE A FREE E-FILE FOR A $50 PROGRAM. BUT THEN AGAIN, I PAID FOR THE FEDERAL E-FILE WITH THE PROGRAM AND THEN IT WOULDN'T LET ME USE IT.
What's great about it: ENTERED MY INFO FROM PREVIOUS YEARS
What's not so great: THE REST

Easy enough

When I entered the saving and e-filing area, I came across several screens that said I wasn't connected to the internet. I greatly feared my returns would get stuck in limbo. However, the "continue" buttons at the bottom still showed up, so I just clicked on them come heck or high water. Then, I wasn't able to enter my credit card information for efiling my state return for the same reason...couldn't connect to the internet. So, I was forced to call the number that came up offering help with this. It took several minutes, but Ms. Devin Hanks held my hand through it. Then, with a successful click, I was all efiled. Uncertainties like this about the electronic process GREATLY increase my stress and frustration level.
What's great about it: Reassurances along the way
What's not so great: This year...some internet glitches
