church donation was difficult to understand. Many of the items I donated to my church fair were a result of having 2 homes, one in VA and the other my retirement home in NH. Coul not figure out the date problem. because we had two homes and sold one we had two sets of furniature - gave them to the fair.
What's great about it: Almost self explanitory
What's not so great: could not find political contributions

Good tax package, makes you feel confident that you have covered everything.
What's great about it: Guidance throughout the data entry.
What's not so great: Getting the software download initially was not as operator friendly as years past.

What's great about it: interfacing federal and all of the states needing to be done
What's not so great: $$$ cost for purchase, cost for filing, cost for having to do multiple states

2014 RETURN

THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I FILED MY STATE RETURN VIA TURBO TAX. ONCE AGAIN I HAD TO PAY FOR THIS.
I WAS A CONCERNED REGARDING NEWS STORIES REGARDING TAXES BEING FILED VIA STEALING IDENTIES AND FILING FALSE RETURNS. THERE WAS ALOT OF BAD PRESS ABOUT TURBO TAX. I MAY HAVE TO RETHINK REGARDING MY CHOICE OF TAX SOFTWARE FOR NET YEAR.

What's great about it: I HAVE USE TURBO TAX SINCE 2002. IT IS USER FREINDLY.
What's not so great: NOT HAPPY THIS YEAR SINCE I HAD TO PAY TO E-FILE MY TAXES. I ALSO HAD TO UPGRADE BY BASIS TO DELUXE VERISION.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Was easy once they installed the forms I needed.

I was not happy at first with changes made by Turbo tax. I have been filing with them for the last 10 years, but they did correct their error and get the correct forms so I could do my taxes with out having to purchase the next level of Turbo Tax. I realize that this is a business, but you almost lost a long time customer. Thank you for doing the right thing.
What's great about it: Able to do it myself, really a year in review
What's not so great: had to go back and find location for odd income forms

Everything was easy about doing the taxes. the hard part was coming up with a nickname which was not already taken. Why do you make this a required field? We do not have nicknames we go by our real names.
What's not so great: Had trouble getting an Nickname which we don't have one.
