Quick and Easy

Have done my taxes with Turbo Tax for many years under different circumstances. Never had a problem and always impressed. I highly recommend using Turbo Tax to anyone who wants a quality job done and peace of mind.
What's great about it: Just a few hours from start to filing. Easy to understand instructions made me feel like a genius!
What's not so great: none I can think of.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Import Fun

Multiple financial statements can be imported and deleted if they are CORRECTED later by the reporting institution. My wife and I at age 65 now have multiple financial statements to collect and report to the IRS. The ability to easily make an amended return when needed is a wonderful process (if you can go so far as to call tax reporting wonderful).
What's great about it: Importing of financial statements

Foreign Tax Credit 1116 and worksheet needs work

The designers need to re-examine their posture when programming the Foreign Tax Credit. Our first time with the FTC in general and with 1116 and its worksheet(s) was a nightmare. We eventually over-rode entries on the 1116 to avoid the problems with the worksheet.
What's great about it: Reasonably explanatory
What's not so great: Foreign Tax Credit worksheet does not coordinate easily with 1116

This is the 8th or 9th straight year I have used Turbo Tax and can't imagine something better coming along that would cause me to switch. Keep up the good work.

MUCH IMPROVED FROM PAST YEARS. EASY TO SKIP THE PARTS THAT DO NOT APPLY. WORKED QUICKLY AND SMOOTHLY. VERY INTUITIVE.
What's great about it: SMOOTH, EASIER THAN PAST, EXCELLENT HELP WITHIN SOFTWARE!
