Saved my life (not really but close)

I don't have a lot of time to spend on a review but this was easier and cheaper than my accountant and I have confidence that my returns are right.
What's great about it: Easy, fast and complete
What's not so great: Past due return required a special purchase
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I was unable to find any way of writing a combination of (1) the program and (2) the data to a DVD.
What's great about it: Transfers prior year data.
What's not so great: Incomplete

Much cheaper and accurate than hiring a CPA or tax preparer.
Highly recommend. It's easy to use.

Had some difficulty making entries for a specific deduction that the forms had accepted in year's past. Austin in the Chat was prompt, polite and helpful getting an upgrade for my troubles. Telling all my friends this is the only way to go!

TurboTax is awesome and always has been. Sometimes it's a bit hard to use just because of the nature of taxes and because of being a newbie to taxes...
However, TurboTax helps organize and explain almost every instance of what each category is. The software is also wonderfully coded to help check for any additional refunds a user might be eligible for!
One thing that would definitely help new users and newbies to taxes would be to include a few more help windows, linked words or even question-mark buttons that offer the user more information and examples to a particular situation.
What's great about it: Mostly painless and easy to use!
What's not so great: Taxes are confusing to begin with, some of the help window texts were too small

This was a good way to become self sufficient and file my own taxes.
What's great about it: made filing taxes a lot easier without having to pay loads to a CPA!
What's not so great: nothing at this time.
