Overall very easy and quick to use since I waited too late to get in with my accountant Cheaper than accountant, too!
What's great about it: Very easy to use; very thorough
What's not so great: locked up a few times when trying to transfer my federal to state tax info, but downloaded update and it worked fine

Not adequate if you own an expensive home

Our mortgage balance is more than $1 mm -- very common where we live. TurboTax is not set up to determine how to allocate points and mortgage interest over our multiple mortgages. The IRS publication is similarly unhelpful. We had to consult with a tax professional to figure out the situation.
What's great about it: Helped a lot with the basic math of some worksheets
What's not so great: Not set up for more than $1 mm mortgage

Overall, it is a very good program and easy to use. I have been using Turbo Tax for several years and I shall continue to use it. I highly recommend it to my friends and relatives.

Excellent- easy- fast- accurate

Fair price for service provided. 1/2 the cost of having a "tax professional" (2 week wonder) fill out my taxes and using the same informational resources that TurboTax provides. Took me the same length of time that it would take me to meet with a tax preparer but without the drive time. Also, very convenient to have access to all the supporting data that I needed and not having to worry about forgetting something at home. Excellent experience.
