Still going

I've used Turbo Tax software to file my taxes since 2001! It's very easy to use, it's very thorough and the support is great. I used a CPA the year we moved from another state because of the need to file in different states and multiple jobs. When I discovered what I thought was a mistake I decided to try Turbo Tax to verify the accuracy of the CPA. Customer Support helped me get what I needed and get me through some of the complex stuff with ease. Turned out I was correct about the mistake and Turbo Tax found a couple other issues that would have all but guaranteed my being audited! Since then I have never looked back.
What's great about it: Ease of use, accuracy, layout, support
What's not so great: Costs for using credit card for tax payment (2.9%!) and using refund for efile.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Is an easy to use program, I have to pay as well as withholding during the year so I am looking for simple to use.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: I pay withholding every year and still pay at the end of the year so taxes are not fun for me

Always happy with my TurboTax

We started out stumbling a wee bit but after everyone recognized the problems they were resolved to my satisfaction. The key ingredient to your success is by far the quality of your employees. Congratulations on making this another (almost) fun experience.
What's great about it: I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years now and continue to find that it gets easier each year..
What's not so great: The early on confusion re products previosly used and what is now availble.

not that impressed anymore. I don't like your realignment of the categories deluxe and premere, ect. I might use it again for next year, but I'll also be looking for other tax software. Also, I guess according to you, I'm not allowed to have the nickname of Kathy, because someone else has that nickname. Interesting.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: e-filing state taxes should be included in the cost of the software

Guided me step by step

Turbo Tax is super user friendly! This is the first time I've prepared our taxes myself and I am surprised how easy Turbo Tax was to use. We're getting a great refund....YEAH!

Charitable Deductions Made Easy

As a family, we do a lot of charitable giving--it is our way of giving back to society, and our personal opinion is that many charities are far more efficient than the US government in helping the ills of our society. Thus we have many donations to account for.
TurboTax makes accounting for donations easy and flexible. The ability to see last year's recipients makes it easy to total up this year's activity. It used to take many, many hours to do taxes BT (before TurboTax). Now, we can do almost all the work in a day or less. Way to go, TurboTax!
What's great about it: Handling charitable deductions in TurboTax is easy.
