I have been using turbo tax for the past 7 years or more. This years version seemed to be the easiest and quickest to complete.
What's great about it: SIMPLICITY
What's not so great: PAYING FOR STATE RETURN
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Pretty Painless

Makes unpleasant job not that bad! ANYONE can do this on their own - do not pay someone to do your taxes! Turbo tax takes you step by step through the entire process. You can't screw this up!! Thanks - another year in the books!!

I found this to have very simple forms. The only trouble was finishing. I found after a month the e-file had not been submitted. I didn't realize there were further steps.
What's great about it: very simple forms

The Good: An inteligent assistant to walk you through the morass of tax season complexity.
The Bad: Congratulations! You qualify to use a more featured version of the software, AND you can pay full retail price for another copy. Instead of an offer to upgrade the version you purchased that worked for your situation last year.
The Ugly: ACA (aka Obamacare) questions.
What's great about it: What you need to get through tax season.
What's not so great: You qualify to use a more costly verson!

Hard Work

This was my first time using Turbo Tax on my own so I am hoping I didn't make a mistake. I ended up having to buy the Turbo Tax Deluxe which I did not anticipate. Therefore I paid for two programs and I didn't want to do that.
What's great about it: Could take my time
What's not so great: Didn't understand some terms

Old ladies dig Turbo Tax

Made it through Turbo Tax and sent in my forms today. Utilized the helps section to get me through a few confusing spots like pdf--wasn't sure what that was. I feel I can prepare my taxes better than a pro. Can' t imagine them being as thorough as Turbo Tax..

Good Job, But could be better

I refuse to pay for eFile. I bought the Federal + State turbotax and it asked for money to efile for me. Also, please stop trying to sell me stuff when i go to file. No I don't want an amazon gift card.
What's great about it: Well formatted that is easy to understand
What's not so great: Trying to sell me things at the end. Having to pay for Efile when I bought the Federal + state

Made it through another year

Every year I dread doing taxes. The hard part is gathering together all the paperwork and numbers that I need. With TurboTax the easy part is filling out and filing the taxes! If you could find a way to make the gathering of information as easy as the filing, it would be a perfect combination
What's great about it: I like answering questions that are a lot easier to understand than the ones on the tax form!
What's not so great: There are still a few places where I could use a better understanding.
