Taxes For Dummies

I have been using Turbo tax to prepare my taxes since 2007. The software is interactive and easy to navigate. I was able to easily access information on deductions that I was not aware of . Turbo tax delivers an excellent product for the price

I had all kinds of issues filing my state. Now, I am not sure it filed with my last name. THANKS ALOT TURBO TAX. This will be the last year I pay to use you for filing taxes!
What's great about it: Federal is easy file
What's not so great: STATE DOES NOT FILE PROPERLY...VERY POOR

I've used Turbo Tax for the last several years and each time it gets better.
There was an update which had an error and caused me to lose everything. Luckily I had it all organized and available but that was a heckava lot of wasted time.

What's great about it: Good detailed questions
What's not so great: Asked for name of charities and waited until the end to ask for addresses.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Seemed thorough, honest and easy
What's great about it: I liked the addition of estimates of donated goods.
What's not so great: A little more difficult finding the areas of professional.job expenses

This was very easy, I appreciated the (recommended) aspect of the program. In previous years I avoid the recommendations. Having the trust in Turbo tax, that you want what is best for the person who purchased program.
What's great about it: easy and fast

fed transfer to state

found error when doing state. went back and corrected on federal but correction would not transfer to state.

Good step by step procedures. Like the audit risk assessment graphic at the end.
