Turbo Tax - very much helped me with my return

i have been a user for over a decade and the product is easy to use and accurate - one suggestion is to price additional states up front on a discounted basis - i.e. if I know I need 2 additional states - I could pay for them up front and get a discount when I order the product each November
What's great about it: step by step ; forms underlying ; explainations - excellent
What's not so great: better explanations on questions + should get a discount for extra states
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy!

I have never done my own returns, never. When my tax preparer retired last year, my hubby and I were absolutely terrified about getting our taxes done by anyone else. He suggested TurboTax software so we purchased it and tried it out. I was amazed at how it walked me through everything so completely and had explanations of anything I didn't understand. The whole process was simple. This year, we did it again and I was pleasantly surprised that all of our information imported from the prior return so that I did less typing. We had more charitable deductions and it walked me though all of that as well. We are done with this year's filing and I am a happy girl.
What's great about it: Easy to understand and perform

Charged For State E-File Beware!

Charged for state e-file so I will not use TT anymore. Very sneaky. You have lost a customer!!!

Quick and Easy

Keeps Getting Better

Easy to use but had one error

Everything worked, until I came to page where it said file the return. There I got script error (probably Java script). I had to ignore the error and continue. That was not very assuring. There was no technical help line to resolve this issue. That could be considered a problem. I had made sure that I had latest updates installed.
What's great about it: Easy to use especially when used previous year
What's not so great: This year I was getting Script error. There is no technical help line

Makes Filing easier.

I have been filing an ez return for years. My wife started a small side business a few years back and Turbo Tax made it easy for me to make sure I had all my bases covered. Through using it I realized that My medical expenses we a deduction so I started saving my receipts. I have a problem with paying someone else to do my taxes without feeling ripped off by some fast refund pop up shop.
What's great about it: Makes it easy to claiom all your deductions.
