I was worried but...

I was worried about using the software with all the scandals and bad publicity but I stuck with my go to taxing software and it was good. No regrets.
What's great about it: Quick and easy.
What's not so great: None really.

Refund....check!

In my opinion Turbo Tax is the way to go for most of the general public. My immediate family have been using it for almost 10 years now, and have never had an issue or worry about the veracity of the filing or the refund.
What's great about it: Dependable, knowledgeable and quick
What's not so great: There are no cons for me/my tax situation.

Easy and saves you money

Easy to use generally and definitely more cost effective than some other methods. Like they that provide the benefit of audit defense at the end without the high price tag. Occasionally it is little difficult and scary with what can and can not be deducted or claimed.
What's great about it: Walks you step by step, looks for deductions, price
What's not so great: Time, occasional issues with what something means or if it can be deducted.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Here We Are Again!

The best software I have found to do my taxes. But, I spend the first hour or so going back to correctly fill in forms. Once I do enough to get my "taxman" brain functioning, it goes smoother.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate, loads quickly, easy to understand
What's not so great: Maybe its the tax law but many things are not obvious - two or three screens in I would finally understand the subject.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Turbo tax crashed twice at exactly the same place ....had top remember to save my return after each section.. skipped the area where it crashed , finished return then went back to the item where the software crashed ..entered it ..no more problems
What's great about it: Quick.. saved me $$$
What's not so great: Crashed
