Stuggled with filing status

Changed filing status on Federal and it didn't transfer to State. May have to file an Amendment for State but I am not positive.
What's great about it: Walks you right through
What's not so great: Hard to get answers for specific questions

I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH TURBO TAX BEFORE BUT THIS YEAR TURBO TAX KEPT FREEZING UP WOULD HAVE TO END WHAT I WAS DOING & GO BACK INTO TURBO TAX & START OVER
What's great about it: GOOD FOR POINTING OUT DEDUCTIONS
What's not so great: KEPT FREEZING UP

Great until End

When reviewing errors at the end, it just jumped to line 1m in the VT state form and said it wasn't correct. Hunh? Turned out it just needed a zero.
Most frustrating, and probably not fault of Turbo Tax: e-file kept terminating without sending,because of "internet connection" problem. I tried scanning the excellent on-line help, but no luck. Finally installed TTax on a different computer,copied the return, and successfully e-filed on the first try (same internet connection). Probably my firewall or something. Arggh.
But T Tax is a great program.

What's great about it: Well written, robust, easy to start over or resume
What's not so great: Error messages for state tax, e-file
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I check the forms to see what's going on. It would be nice if the program pointed how it was filling out the forms and doing the calculations.
What's great about it: Very clear, good explaination, nice workflow
What's not so great: Not always sure how calculations are being done (see reveiw)
