Ive used turbotax for last few years now, but with the prices you charge to buy program, then have to pay these outrageous fee for additional state forms, then have to pay again to efile. i can efile for free from each of these states. im done using turbo tax. there are too many other options out there.

State tax woes

The added cost of filing state taxes by e-file is a negative.
If you do not file both taxes at the same time the program tries to refile the federal again to get at the state,

What's great about it: The taxes are simplier this year
What's not so great: Hard to getting back to file state taxes if not done at the same time as federal

Great experience!

Turbo Tax has made it very easy to tackle the task of filing your taxes yourself. They walk you through each and every step to get you the maximum refund. I would highly recommend using Turbo Tax. I felt confident that I was entering all my information correctly and loved that they do a scan at the end for an audit risk. I will continue to use Turbo Tax for all my tax needs.

I received tax info from my life insurance co, but not on the form requested by TurboTax. I found this confusing until I called for help. I had to call twice and got two different instructions, but finally got it straight (I hope).. Other than that, all went smooth and without further glitches. A great way to file taxes!

Pretty Sweet for Basic Taxes

I can only speak for basic tax submission -- I don't have many deductions -- TurboTax is so fast and easy.

turbotax took a nosedive 2014

I've always liked Turbotax for it ease of use.But this year was not a good year for Turbotax.
First off I bought the CD and loaded it to my laptop.It crashed my laptop.Took the cd back got another and loaded that. Laptop still slow but working with new software.
unable to download from its deductible all of my donations.finely an update to correct .
not all forms available but due to complaints from alot of customers TT did the right thing and included them.
Finely finished my California registered domestic partner mock federal and Sate and went to efile with the state and Im shot down Yet again and told I cannot efile my state before my federal I CANNOT efile my federal as I have to mail those in. What gives TT. you are failing those of us that need you..Please correct this a soon as possible or let me know how to work around this. Thanks in advance.
