quick and easy

i have been using turbo tax for over 10 years. I have a fairly simple scenario but I do have deductions and turbo tax makes me feel confident that I have claimed everything I can legally claim.
What's great about it: almost idiot proof, quick and easy
What's not so great: none for me

Was always notified by mail when TurboTax CD coming. Nothing this year. Went out and bought one. Found out TurboTax changed to online only and no mailing. It wound have been nice to have known this.

I love that Turbo Tax keeps you up to date on any changes and walks you through every step of an accurate return.

As a retiree, I have pensions, IRA, investments and a little side work. This version handles everything. Don't change!

I did it again. I entered my info, then checked it to find a big mistake. I might have just mailed a paper copy. Too bad that there is a fee to file state returns. It is still worth the cost.

Beyond Easy

I have been using TurboTax for a few years now. It has been the best product that can be found. Very easy to complete and understand and quick if you have your documents ready.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow and complete. Definately explored all areas where deductions may be found. EXCELLANT!!!
What's not so great: None that I could find.

I AM SOMEWHAT DISAPPOINTED THAT IF I CHOSE TO MAIL MY STATE RETURN (VA), THERE IS NO SOFTWARE OPTION ALLOWING DIRECT DEPOSIT INFORMATION TO BE INCLUDED ON THE TURBOTAX-PRODUCED PRINTED FORM.
NEXT YEAR'S VERSION SHOULD INCLUDE THAT OPTION !
