NO explanation of what to do next when I received the window, "duplicate social security number..." That's terrible!!
THEN I click a few more buttons and it states that my federal return has been filed?!?! What the Heck! do I mail in my return and send the check or wait until the date I gave them approval to remove the tax due from my bank account.
WHO can I call or email regarding this mixed message.
I'm lucky that I still have 4 weeks before April 15th. If others have this happen on April 15th they will NEVER use your product again.

What's great about it: easy to read and follow the same lay out as last year, thanks!

Turbo Tax is slipping....
Especially when it comes to Healthcare & HSA Accts.
If you are not careful, you will lose money.
This is not a perfect 'guide-me' process.
Also, the same applies to estimated tax payments.
You have to understand the tax process.
Thinking of using a professional next year, hoping I haven't lost $ over the years.

9TH YEAR FILING TAXES BY MYSELF USING TURBOTAX.

I USED TURBOTAX FOR THE YEARS 2006 THRU 2014..
I PREVIOUSLY USED AN EXPENSIVE ACCOUNTANT TO PREPARE MY RETURNS.
TURBOTAX WAS A GREAT INEXPENSIVE REPLACEMENT..
I WILL CONTINUE PREPARING TAX RETURNS ON MY OWN USING TURBOTAX..

this year ,not so good!!

update caused computer to lose previous years and work done...Had to start over 3 times!!! Major problems with speed and had to use TAB to scroll thur questions,,,Harder this year!!!!More better last year!!
What's great about it: couldn't find too much
What's not so great: harder this year,a lot of difficult questions , lost early years info with updates and early work

Awesome software. It makes tax time bearable, and that's saying a lot!
What's great about it: auto-filling forms from previous years returns is really NICE

e-file vs mail/printing returns

Been using Turbo Tax for years and love it. I always e-file federal and print out and mail my state return. I don't like that it doesn't guide me through that process as well as it guides me through other processes. The printing process is different this year and I had some difficulties I haven't experienced in the past. Maybe I just need to get use to it.
What's great about it: very thorough, different options to suite individual's needs.
What's not so great: doesn't clearly guide you through e-filing federal and then mailing state return.
