I have used TurboTax for the past 4 years. I find it easy to use and supported with live people when any problems are encountered.
Directions are self explanatory. The program can be approached from several different starting points depending on how literate the user is.

Glory! Glory!

Filing taxes isn't fun but we all have to do it. TurboTax is a very educational tool. It simplifies the process and makes it easier for you to understand tax rules!
What's great about it: Very user friendly
What's not so great: when errors are presented it can be confusing to just show the actual tax document
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall worked very well.
It's deductible: Cant' remember which sub-menus that you can't go back to the menu list of items. I had to "cancel" then back into the main menu list.

State Package, MI: went through most of it on first pass but didn't finish. I saved the file and left. came back later. all the itmes that you answer with a "check" I had to redo. This happened several times. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!
What's great about it: Overall a great package, has been since the days of "teletype" input
What's not so great: It's Deductable has some navigation issues and MI State return has some nagging issues

Thorough and easy

It was easy to follow the questions, and type in figures. Turbo Tax did all the rest, including maximizing refund and updates to tax code. The multi-state was convenient and helped the process get completed sooner.
What's great about it: Asked many questions, and sought best result
What's not so great: Wish it could gather all my support monthly throughout the year to make year-end quicker.

It is a great program because you can work at your own pace, one piece at a time. No need to get overwhelmed.

I still have problem to print my forms.

What's not so great: the option tom print my forms is really difficut if I dont have PHD program
