Always dependable

I have used turbotax for the most part since 1995. A couple of years I tried different disappointing services because I thought I didn't have time. I ended up spending more time by driving to and then sitting with my preparer basically telling them how my taxes should be done.
Tubotax leads me through my preparation but ultimately lets me decide how my taxes are prepared and filed.

What's great about it: Easy to follow and thorough,
What's not so great: I would like to see more detail more often.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Taxes made easy

What's great about it: Turbo got it done, while my rough Tax outline was very difficult
What's not so great: Too bad it costs to get help.

Easy step-by-step procedure

I used TurboTax for the first time for my 2013 taxes, and I liked it so much, I used it again this year. Just like last year, it's very easy to use. I'm planning to use TurboTax from now on.

Ive used TT Deluxe for years and have always been satisfied. After seeing all the negative I was a little leery but decided to try them again. Glad I did, easily transferred last years data to new return. Will continue to use Turbo Tax in the future.

Easy to use and I found the community of tax answers very helpful.
What's great about it: I enjoyed the ease of the new 2014 input of information. I also like the transffer capability of past year taxes.

I have been going to a tax person for years and not only paying him, but paying out to the IRS because he told me that certain deductions were not applicable. (I think he was too lazy) With Turbo Tax, I felt competent in knowing what I was doing and saved over $100 to the taxman AND I'm getting a refund this year!!
What's great about it: Easy Step by Step Instructions, Reviews for Mistakes, Electronic File
