Do not buy this one if you want it to last. Mine didn't seem to ever work 100% and then the magnetron needed to be replaced after 2 years. To repair it would be around $400. Disappointed and will not buy another Whirlpool replacement. I expected better products from them.

I had this for a year and the bottom of the handle broke and it stopped heating. The heating element was replaced under warranty which was nice but the handle isn't covered outside of the 30 days which was a bummer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This microwave came with my home purchase three years ago, and it's been awesome. I haven't encounter any issue with it, and it only require minimal maintenance; cleaning the filter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very poor design

Very poor design. Too many plastic parts for a microwave that is over a stove. The handle broke (plastic) the hood cover broke (plastic). The heating element burned out after 2 years of service. Very disappointed not under warranty for anything that was broken. It cost more to repair than to replace the microwave. The fan is very loud even on low setting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For the amount of money i spent, i would expect this microwave to last at least 5 years. With 3 years of moderate usage is gone. I had a good impression of Whirpool brand but that impression is gone now. Too much money spent in a piece of junk.
