Bad bad product

We got eaten up by the error code F7 monster. The microwave had to be fixed 2 times in the first year. Even though it was the same problem, once the manufacturers warrenty ran out after the first year they would not fix it any longer. They wanted us to pay $279 for an extended warrenty before they would fix the problem again. We now hate Whirlpool and all of their products.

Unreliable product

We just had our 2nd Magnetron replaced after 1 year of use. Now that the unit is out of warranty, I'm very nervous about it breaking again. Not sure what happened to Whirlpool reliability. Our last Whirlpool microwave worked great for 3 years with no issues. Stay away from this unit.

I love this microwave, I have had several microwaves and this one by far surpasses the other ones I have purchased. It cooks food much quicker than what it says on the packages to cook.

I liked my old microwave so I purchased the same kind but am not near as happy with it, I have to constantly clear the key pad after using it. I also have to open the door to make it reset. It tells you to open door. The book did not help with any of these matters.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Buyers BEWARE!!

Oh my lord! This has been such an ordeal! As the previous reviewers have posted, I had this microwave installed by my developer. We moved in on August 7, 2011 and the microwave quit heating a bout 2 months later. The technician came and changed a couple of parts and then about a month later, BOOM! the microwave began making this really scary noise. So we had the technician come over again and tell us the microwave is unrepairable. So I am now looking for a new microwave by Whirlpool but will definitely NOT take this model again!

This is a great microwave! It always cooks food evenly and is easy to clean. It also has plenty of room and I love the added rack!

This microwave has been in use for 1 year and has fair performance. On occasion, it will not heat anything if it was used immediately prior.
