Used this microwave twice,and it stopped working,took out insurance which was against my better judgement(who would think you would need this for A new appliance,but good thing I did.The touch pad needs to be replaced,which had to be ordered,and then schedule a service tech.Had guests which was hoping to use the appliance but that wasnt possible.This should have been replaced with a new item but instead they have to come out 4 times for the same thing before they will give you a new one.As far as I am concerned, this thing IS JUNK

Broke after 18 months

I wish I had read all these reviews before buying this microwave. Had it for only 18 months and it started putting up the F7 error code. I'm debating if I want to spend any money at all to fix it based on how many people have had the same problems over and over after it was supposedly fixed. We have an entire house full of Whirlpool products and love them, but I can not express how strongly dissatisfied I am with this one. If Whirlpool doesn't realize that they have a problem here and make things right, I'll never buy another product of theirs.

Does not heat after 1 year and 3 weeks of use

Very disappointed in this product. We purchased this as a package deal from our developer. One year and 3 weeks later it refuses to heat. I now see that others have had the same problem. Defininitely not something I would purchase again and am sorry that I spent so much on it the first time.

We have owned this over the range microwave for eight months. It is a replacement for the first one that lasted only two months and quit working. When cooking on stovetop anything that creates steam and we turn microwave fan on it tells us to clean or replace filters. Charcoal filter has been replaced and grease filter is washed monthly. It almost seems like it has an oversensitive sensor. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Perfect addition to my home.

Have no compliants about this microwave hood other than the light should be placed further forward to reflect onto the food, not the back of the stove. The microwave is efficient and easy to clean. Looks nice in my kitchen.
